Sarah has no idea yet about what is happening with minsuh and taking the blame upon herself, that is why she comes with this sloppy plan. she didn’t know what was going wrong and maybe this ridiculous hostage plan would make minsuh stops avoiding her. Sure minsuh’s problem can’t be solved with hostage plans, hell nobody’s problems would be solved by such plan, but the plan is never meant to fix the root cause, it’s for the attention. Also, though eunsung and okjae knows about the issue minsuh had been dealing with, they couldn’t just say it out loud to sarah without minsuh’s consent, hence following the plan.
I feel like they're kinda missing the point of why Minsuh is sad in the first place.. like this isn't something you can really fix with a hostage plot or something like that.
They don't deal with the same issues that Minsuh does so I can get why they think it's a simple problem, but Minsuh isn't mad at Sarah, she's mad at herself. Her self esteem is low and that will take a long time to fix. But it seems like it might turn out well so I'm gonna have faith.
