But then... Why does he continue to act like the small one is his crush ? Once he set them up and the time they could spend together is over, why continue to lead him on ? It doesn't make any sense.
Shouldn't he have pretended he wasn't interested anymore at the end ?
Why make sure to crush the potential relationship he set up by making sure to remind the main character he shouldn't fall in love because he called (falsely) dibs ?
