I feel like it would be, I don't have DID, and I'm definitely NOT speaking for people with DID. But a lot of times aren't alters coping mechanisms? So its basically losing 3 HUGE coping mechanisms all at once. But ig in this case it seems as if they were ready to go and were accepting to "return" to Kazuha/Rei.
I completely agree. To me the idea of these alters ( with there own names, personalities, and wants) vanishing/ integrating just seems like someone dieing. You will never see or talk with that alter again so I legit feel so sad about these topics in comics since I would want a whole funeral/ ceremony for these people yet characters just move on instead. It just makes me cry at the thought of it. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I don't know why but something about having people within you vanishing sounds terrifying.
