Well he was “forced” to marry her since she told basically everyone that he was in love with her and manipulated her whole family and the king that they’re a couple and that they should get married because she didn’t want to leave her country. He was trapped by a random woman, and even tho his life and reputation was not good, he did not get a say in the situation, he just had to play along.
Yeah, FL manipulated everyone to get what she wanted but he could've used it to his advantaged and play along. I felt like it would have been more ruinous if he had a good rep but he didn't. He could've used having the "White Deer" to pull up his bootstraps and get his business up and running which she had offered a valid point on her offer to marry. I felt like the more he was so caught up in whatever life he didn't have made him feel like it was ruined. IDK. ML need to be a bit smarter to me.
I don't understand how this "ruined" his entire life for her to force him to marry her. Shouldn't it have been beneificial to him? I get she was chosen to be queen and all but she did choose someone in the king's bloodline. Yeah, his reputation is bad but...??? IDK. I like how she's scheming though she's innocent. I want both of them to grow more. I'm glad this hurdle about the past lover is gone and it was just about tying up loose ends.
