i love blue lock sm but im so scared because nobody’s scared of betraying each other. i’ve been so used to peaceful teamworks and winning as a team so this really pushed me to the edge. i’ve never been this anxious over sports. i like this manga so much. it’s so unpredictable and it tests your trust on the other characters. even the main character was not designed to win and it’s always been in the brink of being eliminated (and we can never say that Isagi is safe just because he’s the MC). so scary yet so realistic.

Yeah it's realistic, I think people in sport behave more in a bluelock fashion rather than your usual spokon where teamwork is the most important thing (although this is still a manga so mc is super safe, I'm more worried for the other characters lmao)

i lowkey want him to be eliminated and then have his own redemption arc but it seems like the author gave that to kunigami now

This would be interesting also I'd like to know if this "once you get eliminated you'll never play football ever again!" is true or if it's a(nother) lie... I mean it would be quite stupid to eliminate what are considered the most talented players in Japan, ok maybe they're not good enough to win the world cup, but they can still be good pro players and have a nice career. And also they often get eliminated for a stupid reason, like the first guy who was just hit by a ball and sent away. He made one mistake, but he might be the new messi and you can't judge a player by a stupid game like that and anyway they are too young they still have a lot to learn, if someone is average at 16, he might be good at 23
