Spoiler:
Soooo....well there was this whole drama about who first created the experiments (it was OG ML’s father) and many mutants decided to travel south. Then there was a time skip which shows MC trying to figure out what the fragments were (she doesn’t get an answer and just has a theory that the novel world is the future of her past life). So, Lakis takes her to the “grave” (it was actually a place inside the fragment) and MC still finds no clue. So that’s where it ends literally. No explanation about the bug inside Lakis’s head, what the ruin fragment actually is, no wrap up with Bastian, Salvatore, OG ML, OG FL, or Snow. She literally leaves the east to go to the south without wrapping any relationships and there is no clear explanation whatsoever to who her original parents were. The only time the other male leads are present is when they were inside the grave as well trying to figure things out and Lakis makes things explode to bury them without Mc’s knowledge. But they live. The End

Sad about the ending, but I quite like the ride so far so I think I'll continue reading. The minimum requirement for readability is Yuri and Lakis having a happy ending anyway.
It's still a shame though, I know it's slice of life but it feels weird that the author sets all these things up and just doesn't explain anything. I've always thought that the similarities between Yuri and Selena were coincidental (the ages and timeline don't match up), so that's not very suprising, but I thought we were going to figure out the mystery behind the ruins at least.
Finished reading the novel:
10/10 during the story
2/10 for the ending (ending is crap and explains no shit TT)
