we shouldn’t care, because some people genuinely find it to be fetishizing. We can’t dictate how a person should feel about a certain genre. Unless someone calling it disgusting is somehow harming you, you can block and ignore.

Subjectively reading... sigh. I personally am a fujoshi, you can tell by my profile and see what I am reading and have read. I just simply know and recognize that BL in itself can affect gay people directly. Some enjoy and some simply don’t like it. It’s good to recognize that there are stories that effect the actual people who they are written about.
And if you can’t handle the opinion of someone it directly affects, idek where to start.
