Maybe instead of reading it for the romance, read it for the "other" plots. Like, what if the Empress decides to marry Estelle and the Prince to enforce some sort of connection with the Castiello family. This could force the Castiellos to find a way AROUND the order, or maybe forcing them to have a war with the Empire.
Or,, what if Estelle is destined to liberate her family from the oath stone, but she'll have to give up her physical form so that it's even.
If you truly can't stand reading this anymore, that's totally fine. I hope you find another read that suits your interest.

Yup I totally get your point. Although I do like romance mangas a lot but I totally did not start this because of that. I did enjoy her growing up, facing issues accepting the family and just progressing. It's just last few chapters are all about romance, and I believe next few will be. If they never introduce romance angle I was fine with that too.
You pointed out some good possibilities, I agree with that empress point.

I agree with you too. I liked the chapters with the family and servants dealing with issues together, and the ones where Estelle matures and takes the Castiello name.
I do wish for the romance chapters to end a bit quicker, but I think that BECAUSE there's almost no chapters with romance being the main focus, the author is giving some fan service.
But I'm pretty sure a chapter or 2 will be the end of it for now, and it'll turn to face another thing.
I still can't ship them, trust me I tried!!!
I know there are 6 years apart and that doesn't bother me at all.
I believe it's just he is always been the SAME mature, he has never been a teen or behaved like one. There has never been a age progression for him. Not mentally nor physically. Now suddenly whole all romance is bit overwhelming, I think I always saw them like protector and princess kinda relationship.
I so wish to enjoy this but can't. May be I should reread it?
