I've read the spoilers, there's actually a legitimate reason for why she's acting the way she is and why ML and everyone besides FL thinks he's ugly when he's obviously not.

I was so excited about this but now... No thanks. She's fine with allowing her husband to talk down on himself. It's obvious this will be another "My husband is so hot I can't leave him" case. Yikes- She doesn't even care about how he feels. She's just concerned about how attractive he is and how she can't divorce such a hot guy. Just- Yikes. Then later on she'll "fall in love" with his personality while still obsessing over his looks. I definitely do not recommend this if you want a FL with good intentions. And the ML is like, Not intending to fish for compliments but it feels like he is. I wonder how he views everyone else if he thinks he's ugly.
