Isn’t that because all of her childhood friends are currently apprentices in whatever field their family did? Isn’t that why the mother of Lutz gave Lutz a hard time when he said he wanted to be a merchant. They don’t need help like the orphanage kids, they already have their future job set after the baptism ceremony, They don’t need help in getting jobs. It just the jobs they got won’t make them nobles, but at least enough to be able to survive.
I dont know about that set future job after baptism... As far as i can remember in season 1, they still going in the forest collecting firewood. I dont know about the apprentice thing. They are just background character except the brother of luts.. So i really dont know where you get that info.
I got it from the chapter when Myne and Lutz signed the magic contract with Benno. He explained how apprentices work after the baptism ceremony. Usually parents give recommendations of their kid to the workplace. Which is why orphans don’t get that option, they don’t have parents to give recommendations for them to be apprentices. I guess because they are still apprentices, they have more free time(?) I mean the baptism ceremony age is 7 years old. From what I remembered when Otto was training apprentices for soldiers/guard, where Myne made suggestion on how to teach them effectively to read and calculate to the kids, the kids weren’t there full time.
Myne seems forgotten to help there childhood friends.... I just remember in season 1 , the scene were there childhood friends asking where are they going and myne with luts and her sister answered that they will go to beno sans to work..... And that childhood friend looks so pitiful looking at them and part ways...... Hopefully mynne help them too since she is also helping the orphans now
