Actually I just found out that another scanlation team picked the title and...only for 2 days. They justannounced that they dropping it , the readers in other manga site is already created a ruckus trying to stop the scanlation because they know the drama

And someone tagged the author in twitter, exposing some page in an sns with a very strong hastag : the translator is charging money. Cue the rant from the author....

2 days?! wtf XD but yea glad they take down the proj but it okay, iguess we just need to like, go to the raws or like, spend money even tho its, not that pricey or anything, but the money tho lmao

I spend 0 lol, farming in kakaopage kr is easy because they run several reading and login events (I got at least 3000 cash >_<, 30 novel chapters!!). now i treat kakaopage like a game for farming cash lol.

about the scan group, yep. they updated the chapter in another site, and 15 minutes after I joined their channel out of curiosity, they announce that they dropped it XDD.

when i open twitter, I found out that there is another uproar about fan-translation. moonseol_a & cierra (Beatrice's author...not sure) got tagged by someone who posted a list of translator group. Cierra also found out about the fan translation of the trash of count's family webtoon and shared it in her tweet, voicing her displeasure. it's in THE SAME DAY as the webtoon's release date.

the author began to rant again about illegal translation and the "donation" for the group (the one who tagged the authors literally tweeted that the group charge money for their translation. so it became another mess). the author saw it as a way to monetize/commercialize the illegal translation.

when u said "someone" posted a chapter, a translated one IN THE SAME DAY as the webtoon's release date iiiiiiiii- nop, no i cant- if they gonna translate one, they should translate the chapter after the release cuz if they release the translated one same day as the raw released, the author is the poor one here since people prefer the translated one and its free than the chapter who costs 100 or somethin.... of course the author will be furious about that.. if the group was asking a permission to the author to translate their works, with conditions of course that is expected, its okay and thats okay lmao

The main platform and publisher for archmage's daughter webtoon is daumwebtoon, and kakaopage also published it together with the novel in their app (kakao corp owns both platform).

I use kakaopage, too (the apk version) because i read both the manhwa and novel. The 4 latest chapters are locked, and I paid using free cash

I usually referring daum first because it's easier to access , and people sometimes annoyed at kakao for some reason

The latest news is : there is a campaign against illegal translation and piracy in south korea. Some authors already joined and rallying the mass. The translator accounts on IG stared to go private and scanlation groups hid the manhwa from their website.

And of course, The author of archmage's daughter also started her monthly hunt. She already pocketed 15 discord servers. Her tweets still harsh as usual

another author found out that her work "My Husband Hides his Beauty" were being illegally translated and the website was even named. I just saw the post on fb today from one of the groups.

So is this manhwa goint to get an official translation…???

There is no news about it so far. Japan will get their's, though.
For the time being, only indonesia got this title legally beside korea.

If you follow the recent campaign issue on twitter, an artist made a mini comic about working environment for authors and artists. The best way to get the webtoon to be localized is to send request to internatioal/ local platform to buy the copyright. Pestering the authors is not a great idea because the decision makers are the publishers.

I don't recall about another overseas offer from the west in the tweet, so only time will tell us regarding the localization. Indonesia got this title localized because a solid fanbase and they bombarded webcomics/kakaopage with requests
