Well she did say that her home life was bad so she probably was unloved. Unloved children tend to grow up and have a hard time connecting to their children so she saw herself in sei and wanted him dead. When she was talking to herself after pushing shigeru, she kept repeating tasks that were asked of her. Her whole life she probably just followed orders and her self hatred built up and it became that she hated everything. She hated herself and ultimately hated sei the most because he is the thing most connected to her. (Sorry if parts don't make sense I still have that summer mindset)
She said it in an earlier chapter. She doesn't want to be a mother. I think throwing him off the cliff, she hoped he'd die and she'd be freed.
But at the same time, she was possessive. It's effed up.
I reread this 2 times but i still can't get what the mother is thinking? Like what's her motive seriously?? We need a backstory of her so that we can understand what's going on in her fucked up head.
