He doesn't see Asumi in a romantic way. Someone mentioned that a long time ago in the comments before he even showed up, so that's why I'm not making memes about Daiki being a homewrecker lol. Also Keiichi is referring to Ichika. The Kanji is the same, just backwards so I think the translation got messed up for when Daiki talks about Ichika. Ichika is still called Ichika by Yuki, Naruse, and Asumi. So it is confusing for sure.
