Give him some time to improve. Yes, he is shitty right now but it's probably due to his past/upbringing which is difficult to take control over. I'm pretty sure that we will see some character development soon.

It's ok, I think that different types of charactes just add to a story and make it seem more real and complex but I respect your opinion about not being down for it.
