Hahaha dont worry, the plot still focus majorly on adventure, especially those demon forces that will become their major enemy. If I'm gonna rate it, although I haven't finished the novel yet, it will go 98.5% on adventure and 1.5% on romance. Hopefully that would remain constant as the story progress.

I think romance is okay......towards the end end end of the story. Like the last two chapters to end it where we get the omg he ended up with her? Who would have thought, there wasn’t a hint of romance between them, like ever, because I want to see him as a father and with a wife. It would be like 10 years later, and then shows him as a father training his kids and Showing us his wife and thats it. That’s the only acceptable romance for this type of story, two chapters. But the Elijah pairing isn’t a bad idea (▰˘◡˘▰).
Elijah is going to live with Arthur and although I ship the two (coz I'm a big BL hoe), Arthur will end up with the el- nevermind muahahahahha
