the ending was a bit convenient, but as you know the manga had a very specific message which would not have been conveyed properly if the ending had been tragic. the mangaka chose to prioritize the message rather than the plot. which is why plot wise the ending was a bit weak but it was a very strong way to finish considering everything.
tbh i felt like the ending was...convenient? too convenient. everything just fell into place. the mangaka probably intended that to happen as they hinted everything from the start, but it felt like they want everything to end in a good light so to not have unsatisfactory ending. a great read, really heartwarming too, but i just felt kind of ehhh about the ending
btw the S2 of anime will be released in january next year ! yay for us
