Ik it’s rlly bc it’s all for the plot lol, but I also think part of her actually want something good truly for herself (something more than just not being killed by her brother) and that’s subconsciously influencing her plans— I agree w you, she could’ve had a whole diff plan altogether if she rlly wanted to

The duke needs to be married for at least 3 years if he wants a fighting chance at claiming the throne. She married him so he would make the time limit and she'd be protected from her mother. It wouldn't make any sense for her to try to push him and the saintess together and force them to get married in such a short time span. She wants them to fall in love naturally so i think it makes plenty of sense.
So I know this will get hate, but I believe what she's doing just...doesn't make much sense.
She wants to push him towards the saintess, who she believes was his lover in the past, because she wants to repay them.
I understand that.
However...if she truly wanted to pair them together, I still think she shouldn't have married the Duke, even if it's"only an arranged marriage"
I know that serves and helps her a lot, but I feel like with her prowess, she would have been able to come up with another plan without "betraying"(cause even if she isn't, she kind of is to a certain extent.) Either benefactor.
