Everything he did was just moo baiting him to do stupid shit for his own amusement. Yes it worked out, but it had nothing to do with how smart kirin is. And when you see him again, it's not even his pov so you know nothing about what he's thinking, he's just there as a throphy for moo who i guess the story wants to crown as a genius and empathic killer. dont get me wrong this is the author's fault, but kirin's character is completely at the mercy of kang moo's every whim
