Futaba gave her heart to Kou, but Kou rejected her coz of the reason "Narumi needs me, she's suffering the same thing I suffered from before" thing, and when he saw Futaba slowly moving on from him, he then realized that he made the wrong decision and then came on confusing Futaba's feelings again. I don't like how everything ended, just my opinion but Kikuchi would be a better partner for Futaba, altho I know that she's deeply in love with Kou. I, too, was rooting for kou, but then I just don't see that spark anymore after seeing how Kikuchi treated Futaba during their time together. Like Kikuchi is the perfect boyfriend, it's just sad... I just don't like how kikuchi was treated here just so that Futaba and Kou would have their sweet ending. I hate feeling like this when I shouldn't be, I do know that end game would be Kou and Futaba, obviously..
