i can't help but think that taejun and seheon's dad unrequited love was a way for the three couples to meet. well, donghyun and uncle seems like they'll end up with each other too. and in a sense, taejun was somehow one of the reasons that juha met doyoon. i mean, if he hadn't killed himself, juha won't be interested on messing with taeyi and won't meet doyoon.
it was kinda sad to think that way. they had their own time, but it ended all so soon. and if you'll ask me, they're both at fault, taejun and seheon's dad and even donghyun. so it was ridiculous to pin all the blame to a specific person because they all had the share of blame. and i honestly pity seheon's dad. of course i feel sympathize towards seheon and his mom too. but it's just, having someone break up with you and having someone leave you for good are two different kind of pain. when your partner split up with you, it will surely feel like you're drowning in pain. it will hurt so much to the point of crying everyday or drinking. but having someone special to you die is so...empty. you'll feel a lot of pain but at the same time it will feel empty. waking up everyday knowing that you'll never see that person again even if just a glimpse or even bumping on to streets. the feeling of never seeing someone you love for eternity is triple times more painful.
this is how i interpreted the story but i think taejun ended his life because of depression and because he was happy. from his mother dying to his father leaving, and then having hardships with seheon's dad, it all took a toll on him. seheon's dad chose him over his family and yet they still had to go each other's way. and then comes the time when donghyun spilled the tea. he was depressed, but i also think he was the happiest that time. and judging from the way he talked once with his uncle, it seems like taejun was the kind of person who'll end his life when he's the happiest because he wants to treasure that feeling and moment, scared that everything will change after sometime. from feeling all depressed, he wants to hold onto that "happiest moment" of his life 'til he die. but the thing is, it ruined everyone around him. i guess you can say that fe finally chose and freed himself from everything.
it is scary how taejun always smiles and act all sparkly when the truth is he's in pain, maybe even drowning himself from darkness. it just shows that being emotionally unstable doesn't mean it has to show on a person's face and that's what the scariest. you'll never know if the person around you is thinking of ending his/her life while smiling.
i hope everyone who'll read this is happy and mentally/emotionally stable. and if you're not, i hope you'll seek professional help and soon find your own way to the light that you deserve. get well soon!!
