No they don't. Manga/anime is a sub community in Japan. In fact, a lot of grown adults will think you're weird or immature for having such a hobby. The generel consensus is that manga/anime is for children and socially awkward nerds. There are even extreme bias against otakus from more closed minded people. They think all otakus are grown middle aged men who are overweight, has bad hygiene, and has ill intentions towards women.

Anime/manga being only for children is a biased opinion in Japan. Especially when it comes to manga. There are plenty of genres like josei and bara that are aimed at adults. Also, this manga isn't normalizing rape. It's targeting a specific group of people with a specific type of fetish. A lot of people have rape fantasies and a large majority of them are women. Do you know why they have rape fantasies? Most of these women have been violated before and they developed a rape fantasy fetish as a way to cope with their trauma. The one with the rape fantasy is usually the one who gets violated when they act out the fantasy with their partner. It's their way of taking back control for what happened to them.
How do I know this? I was violated by my mom's friend's husband when I was 7. I don't remember everything that happened but I remember his obsession with me. It's very peaceful. I have PTSD but I'm lucky that it's not severe. And I have one of the safest hobbies ever, staying home and watchingTV/reading/playing games. Relationships are a clusterfuck though. I haven't found someone who I'm comfortable sharing my fetish with.
