Yup i'm also team medea, it's just the last time he put her in the basement medea couldn't do anything, last time he let her out for the birthday banquet to secretly kill her so medea could get her freedom by fighting the knights, staying alive, and ended up sneak out almost every night, she can handle it but it's such a hardship and she also got hurted repeatedly in the process, i get that the situation makes her look cool and badass, yeah medea is amazing, but for readers who empathize with her it's also uncomfortable seeing her suffers while facing psyche's problems (not to mention there are several downsides like psyche's body is weak, getting her freedom limited, etc.), then this time...

...the prince plans to lock her up until she get her divine power back (which she won't because she's not psyche), even psyche's mother almost handcuffed her and the father is useless, honestly it looks pretty dead end for medea and she can't think of any plan to escape other than hoping to get back to her body, fortunately medea and psyche are back to their own bodies at the right moment
