It maybe a false rumor, since it's really popular on Naver and the english version ( licensed on tappytoon) has pretty good ratings too.
It’s still ongoing, at the end of the chapter there’s a authors note at the end of the chapter saying they’re just taking a break before starting a new season.
I heard the author has stopped or dropped this project and it won't continue.
