Mia opinion.

I do understand that she is confuse but when someone save me sure I will have a crush on him when he is that handsome but when I see he is married. Then I shouldn't be a selfish bitch and be grateful to that person. But of course so far I can see she still have some common sense so I am hoping that common sense will last

I agree. She isn't completely stupid. She had her rough edges definitely but I think she may actually be a good character overall. It'll just depend on how things unfold. And we can't forget the governor gave her massive false hope.

actually she wasn't saved by the emperor, it was the queen who saved her. She asked the emperor to spar her live because she is not a spy and let her stay in the palace I seriously don't know how she end up thinking the emperor saved her when he was clearly mean to her on chapter 12 and he only sparred her life or let her stay to make the queen happy. Mia is also old enough to understand that the emperor is MARRIED which is a clear sign to STOP liking him.

The emperor dragged her out of the lake though. Didn't he? And he did end up still agreeing to let Mia stay in the palace so of course she'd probably think he like her or something for that acttion. Even if the MC was the one who caused it, Mia probably doesn't know that. She may just think that the emperor secretly likes her or such. We haven't received her POV so we don't know for sure what she's thinking. Oh and, Yes, She is old enough to understand that he's married and she shouldn't like him. I think she definitely realizes it now. I'm not excusing her behavior at all. I'm genuinely annoyed at her character aswell but I'm saying people aren't taking her situation into consideration either. Mia obviously isn't the brightest of the bunch so I think she's having trouble understanding it all.

Oh right I forgot about that the empress it the one who actually saved her lol well lets just hope that she won't be manipulated by someone again and the green hair dude can teach her more the common sense

Yeah let’s not excuse bad behavior just because we pity there circumstances! I don’t think Mia is terrible by a long shot because she honestly hasn’t done anything that bad but still the fact she tried (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Sure enjoying the view, I don’t blame her and it’s hard to ignore the fact that originally the two of them were meant to be. Big issue with stories like these, it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm not trying to excuse her bad behavior. I'm simply trying to raise awareness for her circumstances so that people can potentially see that this isn't all her fault in reality. I don't pity her character in general, I pity all the hate her character is receiving.

Although I have to disagree with the ‘This isn’t all her fault.’ It was very clear from the beginning that the emperor was in a relationship, it doesn’t really take any brains at all to see there was no place for her but she did it in the original novel too so maybe marriage doesn’t hold much meaning for her.

Along with that I get this is a new space for her and it’s completely understandable to latch on to someone, but falling for a married man? That’s not understandable no matter what the state of the marriage was. Realistically she would have clung to Leana as she is the only one who showed her any kindness.

Let’s not forget she was cheated on and dumped just before she came to this world yet still acted as if she had a place beside the emperor, like girl this isn’t even your world.

But still, she was only saved and comfortably placed in the palace because of the empress (it was her request), and the empress was the first person who actually treated her well, she should still be grateful towards her, but no, she’s jealous because she wants her husband.

I know. It isn't right for her to cling onto a married man. You guys are seriously misunderstanding that I'm saying she's okay. I hate her character just as much as everyone else but I think the extreme hate is unnecessary.

I don’t think we misunderstood? You don’t think she’s deserving of this much hate. And we have given you reasons as to why she is getting this degree of backlash.

The comments your reading (don’t mean to assume here) are probably being written in the heat of the moment or by those who are over dramatic. At least that’s what I’m guessing if they were that bad.

Exactly. I don't believe that she deserves this much degree of hate. While I still think she should be hated on, It's a bit sad that nobody has pitied her at all. So I'm doing that. ^^ I already know why she's getting this degree of hate. I'm perfectly aware. Like I've said so many times, I perfectly understand why everyone hates her. I hate her also. I'm really just saying that she's having a hard time with everything and that people should cut her some slack.
