It is a bit cliché but it is actually a good story. She is the queen of society because her family his hight in the noble hierachy and she has the backing of the royal family (more specificaly the King). She has political power because of her work. The royal family keep using her despite her reputation because she is just that good. For the uncalled hatred, there is also a very good reason for that. SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
The little sister is able, witout realizing it, to use manipulation magic. The nobles don't actually hate Athy, they are being manipulated into hating her following the true feelings of the sister. And because of that bad rumours are circulating (essentially because the sister is spreading them too)

Is it the baic "MC is actually good, MC Sister bad" situation? Because I'm reading enough of those already. @~@ I usually don't drop things like this but I had to drop this just because I don't like so far how apparently she's the queen of high society yet everyone calls her evil? That's just- It doesn't add up. Shouldn't her sister be the queen of high society?

The sister is bad, definitly. For the plot twist about the nobles reactions to her see previous comment, but it is a spoiler. For the sister queen of society, also a spoiler...
She can't because she don't work at all. Her parents use her a the face of the events Athy organize, but she never actually participate into the preparations and in fact will be completly unable to do them once Athy is gone.
I dropped this on the first page. I can already tell what'll happen. And, I just know I'll hate it. I don't know what happens but I definitely won't like it. The thing that made me drop it was the fact she's the queen of high society yet people call her an evil lady? It doesn't work like that. Usually you can't be the queen of high society if you carry around a shit reputation like you're some sort of monster.
