I was referring to those cliche stories when I said the “doing nothing part.” Like they some fairy godmother who will make everything right.
On the other hand, the duke did something. He kept borrowing money in secret thinking that it would resolve the problem. The money from the duchess’ family might even be used to pay all those loans so in no time he might go bankrupt again.
This is not your cliche shoujo/romance story mr. duke where you can resolve anything despite doing nothing. I hope you’ll feel even a bit of shame after blaming the duchess for everything when in fact she’s basically fixing all the mess you caused. (╬￣皿￣)凸
