Do u know what he the beginning meant with the dreams? Cuz my theory was that he remembers multiple lifetimes of falling in love with her but bc he was so obsessive. He didn’t want her to have any other loved ones or anything else she could like more besides him (career). I guess he wanted her to be only dependent on him. Either way it somehow led to her death multiple times. So he’s trying to protect her at all costs now. Even if he can’t earn her love he prefers that she’s safe. Also it could be just one lifetime that he lived with her and he just remembered it and his current present time he’s lived knowing and had recurring dreams of the past life.
