i have a theory he did notice cause they were actually madly in love and maybe he caused this or he actually, like her, retained all his past memories and will try and stop that evil princess from killing the fake one.
the story hasn’t gotten into specifics about her child, her husband, or even her plan. it feels like everything is shrouded in mystery, and it makes things more exciting (for me, at least) i’m sure it’ll be revealed soon, i can’t wait!

That's what I'm thinking as well. He more than likely noticed and slaughtered them all and because he was filled with guilt he must've wished for them to meet again in the future so he can protect her.
Since her reincarnation she hasn't gone into the specifics or reminiscenced about her relationship with the crown prince, just their child. So I'm wondering when she was replaced did he notice the difference (if he truly did love her) ?
