I never said that rape is okay. There are some things in this particular comic tho. First of all seungho is a fucking idiot is abusing his power. He is protective of na kyum and wants him to himself and probably thinks it doesn’t matter if he rapes na kyum since he is higher ranked. So no the rape was not good but people can change. Secondly, he didn’t rape na kyum afterwards since na kyum accepted it which pissed off seungho. Third of all this is a different time frame than now. I’m not exactly sure what time frame exactly but I don’t think there were proper laws then for how you could treat lowborns so seungho probably thought he was doing absolutely nothing wrong since he is in a higher rank than na kyum. So no I don’t think romanticising a relationship between a rapist is good just bc it is yaoi.
----possible spoilers or whatever -----
my comment got deleted just for saying people should stop trying romanticise the relationship between the psycho lord and the painter.
Why are you so shocked about the idea of the painter being part of an orgy at bequest of the psycho lord?
do you seriously think this is a love story? and not a tragic tale?
Do you seriously think the lord is in LOVE? looooool
do you think the psycho lord whom his own family are afraid of is not capable of causing more harm to the painter?
WAKE UP! stop being naive.
And I will say it again if the role of the painter was a female those of you romanticising or shipping the lord and the painter now, would be in disarray and be triggered by the amount of rape and sexual violence that takes place. But for some reason when its two men, its more "erotic" ? Tsk tsk. Whatevs, I'm not interested in shaming people over their sexual fetishes or fantasies.
Having hardcore sexual fantasies and preferences is actually quite common for women.
I just don't get why they need to hide behind the role being taken by a different gender to romanticise/embrace it?
