Though I had the same kind of feeling last year - I had gotten a friend's old pc and had everything set up (finally) - and then the cpu blew up (or to be accurate: the power supply unit blew and took everything down with it) - so I had to deal for a long time without any pc whatsoever and after I gathered the funds I had to set up everything AgAiN...major pain in the ###
god I know that feeling. The thing I'm lucky about is that there are three fully functioning computers in my house. Then I have my tablet, smart phone, my moms smart phone (lives on my parents property) and I might be getting a new laptop soon. :P so that'll make it four and I'm anal about backing things up on thumbdrives. oh! only two of the three computers is set up right now thought.
One is really old so I need to get it first. XD Two desktops and one laptop and one tablet. :P gotta love technology. Then if you wanna get technical I also have an xbox360 and a wii XD;;
Wii and stuff belongs to my kids - I don't want to know how to operate those (I'm a lackey 24/7 I don't want to step down the path of "personal technician" anytime soon)
I've been a WoW-addict for the longest time, so all I needed was my pc - ah well I'm old enough to remember the time "Pong" was a revolution, so yeah - let me stay a dinosaur in at least the realm of "console gaming" ^^
And I must admit reading manga on my smartphone was a major pain too, somehow. Still a luxury compared to staring at the wall, but - it lacked comfort! ^^
lol dude I can understand that (the smart phone thing) I use that only in emergency's I use either my laptop or my tablet to read the yaoi and what not. As for me I remember we had a sega growing up but the big revolution that we had was Nintendo 64 (I am only 22) So I was a kid at the start of the home console revolution >8D muwahahahaha~
as for keeping them operational not that hard so long as you take care of the machines and dust them. (and take a air compressor and blow out the insides with air) That last part I do because we have dogs that shed BAD.

Back when I was a kid I was allowed to play "Worms" and later "Arkanoid" in the office of my mom ^^ But well, I grew up with the big machines in her office, so I still remember monitor screens with black background and green font ^^
And yes I'm dusting the consoles (and everything else) - we've got a cat who apparently sheds her whole fur twice a day (I could make a new cat out of all that fur -.-)
lol try that with three large dogs. We have a boarder collie (13) a black lab (5) and a basset hound (7 months) lol they shed bad. but you gotta deal ya know. and OMG TWINS!? REALLY!? I adore twins *w* they run in my family thick on both my moms and dads sides. So the potential for me to have twins when I find a guy who can handle my obsessions is VERY high. XD

Well you'll have to! When I came to terms with being a twins mom, I hoped for boy&girl, too (it's the epitome of efficiency!) - but in the end there where two boys in my belly (and they where arguing then, too -.-)

but seriously I would be happy with any child so long as its the child of the person I love. I mean I'm the type that even if I got raped and got pregnant by it I would at least have the kid. If I know by then I wouldn't be able to raise the kid in a loving home then I would make sure the child at least got adopted into a loving home.

Ah, life is precious. Despite all bravado my first thought always was, that my kids should come safe into this world - in the end they came 7 weeks early (which isn't THAT unusual for twins), but they were so big already that there was simply no way in hell to still contain them ^^ (I'm only 1,55 so I quipped about Greenpeace bringing me back to the ocean as I was confined to the bed)
And when you see these pruney dwarves in their incubator you just don't care anymore about the rest (≧∀≦)
IKR!! I don't even have kids yet but I have 13 nieces and nephews and OMG I love them all to bits!! I've watched all of them grow up! (am the youngest of six kids) The oldest just turned 16 and the youngest turns a year in about three months. :B hehehe~
omg I now have a erge to find a good bullying yaoi. . .or one where the seme is a complete cheat (have no idea why) xD For after I finish signal red baby. You know its hard to find good yaoi's with a decent bully savior type deal yo.
