So in the 2nd half of the latest chapter, the letter that Shuli got was intended to be for this Herman von Reicher guy, who's Jeremy's and the other kids' uncle. (He looks exactly like Elias lmao). Herman is like a close friend of Johannes, which is why the letter is addressed to him. Now here's the part where it may get confusing. The letter is a key to have Shuli get a legal divorce (yes, she can't annul her marriage even to a dead husband under normal circumstances). In the letter, Johannes wrote about why he chose Shuli to be his wife (presumably because she had the same face as the dead Empress), and he also told Herman that they didn't have a husband/wife relationship (meaning they don't sleep together et cetera), which also means that the kids are not hers and Johanne's, and they never did 'it'. (which is kind of disturbing if you think about it.) So now that the letter has proved that Shuli is kinda like a wife just on paper, she has the right to ask for a 'legal' divorce, which will mean that Jeremy will become the next head of the household, and also annul his punishment, but with Shuli gone of course. The reason Shuli had to meet up with the bitchy lady is because Herman lived in this isolated place since he's in an unstable position in his family, and she needs to find his address so that he can testify in court that the contents of the letter is true. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm trying to explain!
Don't read unless you want to be spoiled!
