tbh i think it was a mix of both, and also w the fact that everyone except glen realized that the movie was a slap in the face to the real victims, i think (now this isn't mentioned in the story so this is what i'm assuming) that ryan wanted glen to take down the film after realizing its effects and glen didn't so he felt like he was being used for profits (this part is actually in the story i believe) and i think it also explains why glens face was crossed out in the poster
I feel like Ed treated Glen really unfairly and he never apologized properly nor opened up to Glen about some really heavy things like his childhood or Chang... Compared to that I feel like Glen lost a lot just bcs he got caught up in Ed's guilt over his own immorality. Ultimately, Ed was in it for the money but to Glen, he really felt like it was his art.
And, what was the deal with Ryan? did he blur the lines between the role and his real self and thought that he was an actual victim or did Glen really rape him during filming?
