advice please

ok so i'm iffy about this manga because of how the main character is treated like a tremendous object (only seen as something to be kept or used), and there isn't much focus on romantic development, just sex scenes. however, the reviews of this manga seem very positive, especially about the character development. to me, it doesn't seem like the main character's issues are being taken seriously. it seems like it's one of those yaoi that has sex as the main focus and fixes issues with the cliche miscommunication/unresolved trauma tropes. i just want to know if i'm wrong to think this and if there actually is substance and serious issues that are addressed in this manga, or if i shouldn't bother to continue reading past the third chapter.

it will be resolved!!! momota is just sex-hungry and has bad habits early on bc he's repressing his hurt and pain from his trauma + that's the only way he's been treated so far. but he will open up and even face his past in the last chapters!

i totally understand your concerns though!!! i had to push through especially when it felt like his trauma wasn't being addressed properly at first
