No, I mean cousins closely related by blood is bad cause of birth defects. That's not culture, it's history and science. I don't really care what other people do so long as it is wanted by all parties involved.

first cousin marriage is far more common, and far less dangerous, than many of u have been led to believe. It’s part of my culture and very common, I have never came across any child with disabilities caused by marriage between cousins in all my surroundings, so although I’m not saying it’s impossible for it to happen I doubt the chances of it happening are higher (at least not a lot more) than non-cousins parents. (According to the clinical genetics handbook)

Buddy, I said it was bad if they are closely related by blood cause of the possibility of birth defects. Sure it's not as bad as siblings/parent+child but it's still bad. It does go against my personal beliefs and morals but like I said previously, I don't care what other people do so long as both parties are consenting.

I think the way you’re trying to push your beliefs and morals is wrong, you’re talking as if you’re speaking facts while I told you to do research because even in science it has been proven that a child born between cousins doesn’t have much more chance of birth defects than non blood related parents. I’m not trying to push my beliefs and just tried to kindly explain that this is legal in many countries/cultures and to respect that idk why trying to make it a conflict.

Im not trying to push my beliefs or morals, I simply stated them. I'm not speaking as if I know everything. I'm saying what ive been taught which is true in relation to blood. You didn't tell me to do research. You were actually speaking like you claim I have been. I havent been making it a conflict. Ive said it does go against my morals and beliefs but I dont care what others do as long as both parties are consenting. I'm not understanding what your issue is with what I'm saying.
