I also agree with both sides but my argument is, it is a story. Another world that we are peering into that we have no control over. If you dislike how the world is going then go find another world to peer into, if you enjoy watching this world you can continue or drop it's your choice. Easy as that. Don't force your ideals onto others. While yes, you are free to state your opinion, but continuing the story while hating on it just isn't right. And yeah I get it I'm lowkey forcing my ideals onto you guys, but I'm just sick of people hating on a manga, A FICTIONAL STORY, every. Single. Chapter. (︶︿︶)
I love the argument going on between readers. Some are saying it's a bit gross how the male lead is the emperor while some are saying that it's perfectly fine. First off I'll explain both sides of the argument.
The first side is people saying that it's okay. From what I've read, People believe that it's okay for the Emperor and Nina to have a romantic relationship because:
1 - Nina is mentally 20 or so.
2 - The romance doesn't start until she's of legal age.
3 - No other characters exept the grand duke show romantic interest in Nina thus far.
Nina is mentally of age in her real body, She's of age. This makes it perfectly fine for them to have a romantic relationship. The romance doesn't start until she's an adult anyways so it's fine. They seem very compatible with each other so that's another good thing.

The second argument is people saying that it's wrong. From what I've read, People believe that it isn't okay got the Emperor and Nina to have a romantic relationship because:
1 - She's in the body of a 14 year old. ( I think. )
2 - It's weird because he saw her grow up and he's still so much older.
3 - Other characters around her age are better choices.
It's really gross that Nina is 14 and a minor while the Emperor is around 20. They shouldn't have a romantic relationship because it's weird that he saw her grow up. And they seem to just have a good friendship at most. He killed the previous Nina so it's weird.
These are the two current arguments that people are holding. So far, They both are pretty equal and power. Each argument has equal power over the other. Yes, It's weird that he likes a 14 year old but no, Nina is mentally 20. Yes, It's okay because the romance doesn't start until she's of age but no, It's still weird he watches her grow up. Honestly, Neither side will end. They both are completely true statements and hold equal powers and points. I don't consider myself to be in either of these sides. This is what I think:
I do think it's okay that the romance won't start until she's of age BUT, It's still a bit odd that he watches her grow up more. In my opinion, I really feel like it's a bit of a two way situation. I agree with both sides. I do find it a bit odd that Nina gets romantically involved in the man who killed her in her past life (And as we can see, Nina's old feelings sometimes can still take affect.) Though, This is a typical thing to happen In these types of stories. It's a bit odd that they're at such a huge age difference even after she becomes of age. When she's 18, Won't he be 30 or so? Back in these times, These things were pretty common. I wouldn't other think it all that much. It really just all depends on how you see it. I feel that both sides have equal points so I'm in the middle. I do think it's a bit odd yet okay at the same time. I don't want to overthink it because I just want to enjoy the story. Again, I'm NOT siding.
