Well it's understandable. I mean the royal family only recently started to pay attention to them, so it's a given that the twins are being wary.
But when that noble kid that didn't treat them harshly upon first meeting? That first impression eliminated any wariness they had. They don't know much of the palace intrigue, so it's not like they know a scheming noble kid when they saw one despite having a mental age of 23yo lol. Because every discrimination they faced so far was something they personally seen and heard, and Duke Rosea and his kid hasn't directly given them the bad vibes.
So ive put this on pause at chap 32 till I get more chaps because the drama has got me anxious. So, first chapter, fl said they died at age 20 and now they were 5 years old. She then says that their mental age is 25. I don't see it but then again they have been abused and whatnot so .......So, in my opinion, the fact that they trust other people, not their family, still bugs me. I went on a rant about this a while ago but whatever. Idk what's happened since chap 31, but read others opinions and found out that the twins finally got an explanation. Great! But the fact that they believed a child so easily and whatnot, still disappoints me.
