I'm pretty sure thats a bit insulting to alters. They are their own people, with different ethnicities, religious beliefs and other things. They just happen to share the same body. They are their own person and thats why a lot of people who do have did refer to them as We instead of I. Because they understand that they are all there and that they are all important individuals.
