Yes. But he d just tell: 'he liked u, but his feelings changed', or 'that s how he can love another person, it s not ur fault'. Something like that. Cuz to understand, and even hear 'he never liked u' from ur friend is like cutting ur heart. While realising u was the one, who loved.
The true is definitely the best. But in such cases, it's better to understand the true by urself. And not hear it from others. Cuz u already know, u was a fool/naive. It's less hurt to think, ur partner liked u a little, at least.
I experienced such relationships, and it was really hurt to hear such things. Cuz if u hear that from others and understand urself, it is really making u the total idiot.
But let’s not forget doyoon likes taeju, so he straight up said that sun never liked him, because it’s true of course, but also because he likes taeju and kinda hates him thinking about sun even after he broke up with him, so I think he was solely driven by his emotions and just said it out of spite for the whole situation. Bit insensitive, but it’s absolutely a scene that could happen in real life imo. He likes taeju and he’s jealous, even a best friend has flaws of their own.
That's why I don't like him (sorry if u like). As the best friend, he might do something to make him feel better, like drink, play or honest talk about relationships. To make him forget a little at least about his past relationships. While, if he wanted, to make some moves, like touching him. But he was wrong, cuz confessed right away. In such case anyone d reject another person's confession, while still remember about his ex. Cuz confession in such cases feels like 'i still love him, so i m not interested in ur feelings'.
Just because something is true doesn't mean it's the right time to say it. If someone is hurting, you should choose your words carefully.
