Hell, he might actually quit and find something else, but if he doesn’t and his partner doesn’t have a problem with his choices, then that’s his choice. Sex work is a job. It’s not the same or as intimate as sleeping with someone you care about. They shouldn’t be compared.

Maybe for you it's not. But for many people sex is intimate and shouldn't be done with anybody else but your current partner if you're in a relationship with them. Even if you call it a job. You're saying that if your partner told you s/he wants to make some money so they'll make a sex tape with someone else you won't feel bad at all? And just say "okay honey, have fun and make the money"?

I guess it's different for everybody, but I'd be fine if my partner went into the sex work. I've always lived in a poor town where it's common and considered among many because how else are we supposed to live? If I had to choose between getting fucked or dying and watching everyone I know and love start to fall apart because we couldn't pay the bills I'd just go into the sex business. Some people aren't privledged enough to do anything else, especially in this economy and low acceptance rate for jobs.
