Agreed. Takumi probably justifies it as he's liked Hiro for a long time and rather than anyone else touch him, he'll be his savior because he has real feelings for him, when really what Hiro needed was someone to pull him out of that situation.
Takumi likes Hiro but if how you deal with a situation comes from your own feelings or self interest, you don't really care for the person you say you care for.
Hiro doesn't need a party boy, he needs a serious man. (⌒▽⌒)
