regarding the knight who betrayed her and the guy who killed her parents in front of her. she let it go when she was stabbed in the back by her "friend" goes on this huge revenge quest after their untimely death, devoting so much effort and time into getting stronger, only to eventually forgive and get together the with red haired dragon in the end. you have to have a really low amount of self dignity to keep putting up with people who wronged you and still trust them again afterwards.. this is what I mean by pushover. like.. maybe they give him some form of redemption or something with him sacrificing his life for the right reasons, great. but dont have the victim end up with her loved ones murderer, jesus.

Oh I see so you're talking talking about what's to come, yeah I guess I can see it that way but I also look at it as the first time anyone loving the red dragon, he's been used and abused by humans and so hated them, killed a bunch, was then cursed by a goddess (who WTF why she picking favourites? she can't allow a human she loves to die but is fine seeing tons of other humans die and an innocent dragon be abused?) and then became immortal human who suffers, he wants MC to hate him so she'll kill him, theres lots of room for character development so I don't see it as black and white
Soo no repercussions or consequences? she gets over it and he beds the woman he claimed from the start. You'd have to have a VERY low level of self respect to get with someone that did this to you. Mc just a pushover that forgives everyone who screws her over? (knight, emperor)
