I think Hyunwoo called all the boys who were annoyed at jisoo and suggested the idea of gang raping him. The guys liked the idea and took jisoo to the gym cellar place. Hyunwoo from the back (in hiding) recorded everything on the phone and gave it to jisoo as his "last gift"(to use for blackmailing so the guys won't bully him anymore). Sungbum was scared because that phone is evidence of him committing a crime and it shows how he was involved with a gay guy which he hates so much.

I just finished reading this today and saw your comment. It’s as I thought too. Jisoo mentioned he had no phone and a way to scare those mfckrs is for him to keep that vdeo as evidence to stop them from bullying him. So Hyunwoo in a way is still helping him, before he leaves to have his surgery coz he can’t be there to protect him. But what I don’t get is why Jisoo is so mad with Hyunwoo and can’t forgive him. Because of the supposedly gang rape he orchestrated? But it didn’t happen. They stopped before anything could happen. Or maybe he thought that all the bullying was Hyunwoo’s idea to befriend him. Hyunwoo’s story is sad. Maybe he did love Jisoo too.

Everyone is different but for me if the person I love tried to get everyone to gang rape me, I would have a hard time forgiving that person, even if they say it was for my sake. I personally get why jisoo is mad but I also understand your point.

Even when it didn't happen it was traumatizing. He was kidnapped, blindfolded and gagged... and drugged as well.. also only 17.

Hyunwoo could have explained his health issues and also what he planned or at least warned him of his plans. Then it would have been different.
