I’m not saying you normalize it, a ton of other people do tho. also yeah I get that feeling, it’s honestly so shitty that authors keep going down the rape road because realistic the rapist would go to jail or the victim would have some sort of ptsd/mental illness afterwards ( not saying all people do but like you’ll probably get traumatized afterwards )
