lol he's never once raised a hand to haesoo in anger. the worst he ever did was act flippant and a little possessive and on the day of their breakup he was being pushy but when haesoo told him "you can do what i want tonight but after that i'll really never see you again" basically when joowon was on top of him in the bed and he ofc realizes how dead serious haesoo is this time and backs off. smth about their relationship dynmac is, haesoo acts prickly and cold or indifferent to joowon but still goes to him when he calls and sleeps with him whenever. and meanwhile joowon knows this about haesoo and thus doesnt take haesoo's barbs seriously at all. which explains his behavior when haesoo says he wants to breakup. he doesnt think haesoo Reaaaaally means it. but once thats abdunantly clearly Not the case he finally fucks off and leaves haesoo be. no bugging him or harassing him and def no hitting him. joowon is flawed ya but he's never been abusive. any1 who says otherwise is reading a diff story imo

agreed on this one, i think i remember haesoo saying how he likes it when jw gets jealous. i think people forget that there are dynamics to be considered between relationships

yup exactly. and yeah haesoo in an internal monologue admits that he likes to goad joowon sometimes to get a reaction out of him whether thats making joowon worry about him or show his jealous side. honestly their relationship was only toxic in so far as neither would be totally open with the other about what they really want or feel. and instead keep dancing around it or playing games. basically they took their childish teen year romance and extended into adulthood but because they are now adults, that dynamic cannot sustain itself. so they have to mature and let their relationship mature or it wasnt gonna last. i suspect when they get back together thats what will happen. just starting over but now as adult men not teen boys.
