Lucio having a bloody nightmare about Petronilla almost every night, and then Duchess Efreni testified that Rosemond was the one who framed the innocent Petronilla by pretending to be pregnant and put the poison in Petronilla chambers. Lucio was disappointed in her because originally if Rosemond pregnant he could just get rid of Petronilla naturally without using underhanded method, but Rosemond gave him an excuse that she is impatient and Lucio already promised her the empress seat so she thought it doesn't matter using whatever method and ask him to save her but Lucio said 'even though he is an Emperor, he can always have his way, he can't go against the nobles' so Rosemond take off her clothes and ask him to sleep with her so she can have his baby since a woman pregnant with imperial heir can't be punished by law and he is sleep with her just like that cause no matter what she is the woman he once so deeply in love with. HA! He is much much worse than Sovieshit.

Lucio will apologize with all he can. he begged fl to stay with him, he told her if she wnt to hate him she can hate him by his side and if she want he won’t touch another women for the rest of his life(fl is infertile),he asked fl sister what she likes so that he can do it for her, he learned cooking so that he can cook for her (he sent her a different type of desert every day.

I'm talking about the first time line. He believed he was deeply in love with Rosemond, and he regarded Petronilla as a villainess who get in the way of their tragic love story. In the second life he realized it was only a pity after some twist and turn. He must be a friend of Soviet.

Yes, he believed that he loved her, but I don’t think he regarded petronilla as villainess because after her death he kept having nightmar about her like he did about his mother

I'm just saying that as a metaphor. He and Rosemond had sad past, but they can't be together because of difference in status, they think they are some kind of victim in a tragic love story, and whoever get in their way become the villain, and Petronilla was in love with Lucio and she can't hide her jealousy so. In fact, during Lucio nightmare, Petronilla ask him 'are you happy now, you regarded me as a thorn who get in your way with Rosemond, now that you get rid of me you must be very happy' and Lucio answered 'Yes, I'm very happy'.

Lucio suffered from nightmare, but when he learn the truth that Petronilla was innocent and Rosemond was the one behind everything, he didn't even get angry at her.
