in the Vinter/Winter scene, i kinda got the gist that being a wizard is ... bad(?) or their reputation isbad cause something related to the empire/pagans/people making it a business or something... idk
and the thing before she went out she left the box and i really just dont get it.
and lastly with the derek scene in the park-like mountain thing hahahaha... i'm so sorry it was another user who's confused but i was just curious as well hahaha
Oh, also, could you explain the relationship that they were talking about between the wizards, pagans, nobles, and merchants? I think that part of it was that the merchants were trying to keep the wizards a secret so that they could sell magical items for more money with less competition?

Omg this! These are my questions too I hope someone will answer. I'm grateful for the chapters but I didn't understand the main points because of the bad grammar (｡•︿•｡)
I'm trying to remember but basically Vinter said he will give the reward for the handkerchief to the person she is looking for (aka himself but he thinks she doesn't know that) and asks if she wants him to send a reply to the gift/thanks she sent him and she says no since she doesn't want much to do with him considering he is supposed to be the first to meet Yvonne.
I don't know why wizards have to be kept hidden either someone else has to explain that. but the Leila group is a bad secret wizard group who have been doing bad wizard stuff for a long time and them imperial family has been fighting them for a long time and they disappeared for a while but now they seem to be coming back again and growing. the Leila group I believe wants to like summon or bring back something like the end of the world and they have been conducting illegal experiments rituals and stuff you will see later on.
if you mean the box in the ice that's a relic that she couldn't take.because it's vinters and she would probably get in trouble taking that. if you mean the box she left for him before she left that is the return thank you gift she wants to give to the man(aka vinter) who helped and gave her a handkerchief at the banquet.
Derek through the bracelet down because he's a tsundere brat and Penelope didn't go around happily taking the bracelet like she always does with jewellery/jewels in the past like original Penelope. she also referenced the past about the time she was a little girl and accused of stealing Yvonnes bracelet or something and the whole duchy hated her for it even though she did not steal it (someone I won't name names since it's a spoiler) framed her. that incident became the start of the fall of her reputation at the sight:( and she was just a little girl

SPOILERS ABOUT LEILA and about the story really
Soooo this one is a bit complex but basically Leila are a group/race that basically want world domination. They are powerful and kinda immortal but there is a drawback: they need to posses a body in order to continue living. Wizard managed to defeat them once upon a time and seal them away. They didn’t like this and kinda rewind history and made it so that wizards became known as the evil ones (they can brainwash people).
SPILER ABOUT VINTER, YVONNE, PENELOPE
Yvonne, the real daughter has been dead for a while really but her body has been taken over by the last Leila. She brainwashed VInter to get her close to the crown prince because she needed an object inside the palace basically (that’s the normal game mode): seducing and brainwashing ML to get what she wants.
Penelope right now just realized that something isn’t quite right: she now questions Vinter intentions. Why does he hide that he is a wizard (she get some backstory about evil wizard that nobles use sometimes because money) and also of all the times to bring Yvonne back, why did it happen at Penelope coming of age party (normal game)? Something like that should be private but it was very public.
SPOLIERS ABOUT PENELOPE
Penelope is from an opposite bloodline and never trusted the Leila (good instincts)... that’s why she became the vilaines. In the end she died and the world was doomed because of Leila but Vinter kinda woke up and felt guilty and did some magic to try to make things right again (that’s where you get a game with lots of reset)
