The poison for an unknown reason only affects his mind when it comes to treating Tia but he was completely fine in dealing with other stuff. If the poison is actually affecting his mind, the kingdom would have collapsed or be ruined before Tia but nope, it only works when he saw Tia. It's hilarious when they were taught to avoid drinking poison using specific tea sets and utensils from very young. Even more hilarious is that after Tia's death, he is still getting poisoned regularly but for some reason, he is now able to think rationally and able to control his rage under the poison influence. It makes you wonder if is he even consuming the same poison or the poison has the special effect of "hate Tia only".

Ruve has been doing the bare minimum for Tia in this new timeline and i hate how she is now being forced to fight jieun for him when he STILL HAS NOT REDEEMED HIMSELF

From my understanding that I’ve read around and heard by people who know the story state that in the past timeline Aristia and the prince were meant to be lovers. But the prince was brainwashed so he hated her instead and went with the “destined girl”. Then she was killed by the prince. Now in this timeline they’re trying to do the same thing again(poisoning) and kill Aristia. But the “destined girl” is pretending to be evil to get back at the nobles for sabotaging and killing her. They’re also trying to brainwash the prince as well.
Everyone is arguing over ruve and here's my 2 cents
I'm going to need a lot. I am going to need to see ruve be amazing to tia if he is to be redeemed and worthy to be considered a love interest. Cuz right now I'm not really impressed. I don't hate the current ruve but I don't really like him that much. Yeah he's hot but literally he's done the bare minimum. He's finally being nice after how many years ? And soo what? Tell me why tia should choose him over carsein?? Carsein comes from a high status family and has definitely been nicer to tia longer than ruve and he's just as handsome. So tell me why i should I be happy that tia ends up with ruve? Why should I believe that tia needs to "fight" for ruve's affection against jiuen? Hmmm? Yeah no I'm going to need to see the current ruve put 10 times the effort than anyone else to win tia over. I don't care if he's the future emperor or that he's handsome. I need to see redemption actual redemption. not the bare minimum I will not accept the bare minimum from him and neither should tia. Not after the traumatic bs she was put through for that fools petty ass reason. I don't care that he was under the influence of some drug that for some reason made him a complete monster to only tia specifically.
