The art style change....

It's not that I dislike the current artstyle or deem it lower in quality compared to the original, but something about the ways eyes were drawn -especially Ianna's- in the first couple of seasons was incredible. Distinctly feline, slightly mischievous, subtly sensual, and incredibly piercing. Never failed to draw me in to admire the gaze. I do appreciate the current artist, but sigh... the original's talent was *chef's kiss.* If anyone knows any manga that employs the original artist, please let me know. Would love to feast my eyes a bit more.

SAME HERE!!! I can really feel Ianna's personality and emotions during the first season ( ̄∇ ̄")

Why did they change artist? I too find the new drawing's emotion sometimes lacking.

And its getting more and more sluggish. Its like the arist does not want to draw anymore.

Yeah I do think the first artist was very good at drawing facial expression.
This art style right now is not bad too, it has style to it but sometimes the characters look blank in terms of emotion. Not sure if that’s cause the artist is being rushed or not.
