Qin Mo becomes gay for Jiu without realising she is a girl. Qin Mo asks Jiu to date her but Jiu doesn't agree because Qin Mo almost managed to catch her when she was a hacker and she would have to eventually resume being a hacker and Qin Mo was a general(or something but pretty high rank).
Yeah the novel's not disappointing in fact it is pretty amazing but the manhua's characters were quite different from what I had actually pictured while reading the novel. The novel gave me the feeling that both mc's are super cool and hot. You can try the novel if you want it is 10 times better than the manhua.
