What I mean is....if the MC got transported into the novel as a maid, maybe someone else, a guy perhaps, got transported into the same novel and into Chloe's body. What do you think? Both the maid and Chloe are korean and got transported into the novel. That would explain why Chloe turns into a guy unlike the original novel. It's just a theory tho

Actually, Chloe is a guy.
His father brought him to the house when he was a kid, and said his wife had no child, if she knew he got a son(an heir in the future), she would kill him for sure, so if Chloe wanted to survive in this house, he needed to deceive her by crossdressing.
And the reason why his body remained like woman is because he took some medicine everyday(by his childhood friend, an archemage, mage or some great position in magic i forgot) to stop growing, and its side effect is too much like a curse.
That's why in the novel, Chloe who would like to revenge, charms every guy, seems like in reverse harem, but no romance at all.
